Penn Foods began making Ragna’s products in 1966. Ragna’s recipes were those that couldn’t be lost and forgotten, but rather those that should be passed on and shared from generation to generation. We are proud to carry on an old Scandinavian tradition by bringing Ragna‘s Potato Dumplings (potet klub), Bean Soup, and Lefse to your table. Our mixes allow you to taste grandma’s good old home cooking any time you crave them—without all of the hard work. Here at Penn Foods, “We work hard so you don’t have to.”
We purchased the business from another family in the area in 1999 and moved the production to a new building in our yard in the country, approximately 4 miles from Fertile, MN.. Our business is family run, from the ingredient selection to the finished product.
