Directions: Combine contents of pkg. and 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 cups of cold water. Mix thoroughly with a fork for 2 minutes. Let stand for 3 minutes. Keep hands wet while forming dumplings and place them in a 4 qt. kettle of boiling water or soup base. Cook uncovered for 10 minutes; turn down heat cover and cook 15 minutes longer. Serve with butter, gravy, or in soups, stews, etc. For lighter dumplings use 1 3/4 cups water and 2 eggs.
Serving Suggestions: Try fried dumplings. Slice refrigerated leftover dumplings 1/4 inch thick and place them single layered in a buttered pan. Fry until golden brown. Serve with butter, syrup, gravy, etc. Use Ragna’s Dumpling Mix for a delicious breading for fish, pork chops, chicken, etc.
